Dear Nickelback fans,

As you might know, many of us have big problems concerning the official Nickelback fanclub. There are two categories of fanclub members, US residents and non-US residents (international members). As you know, we international members are treated in a very unfair way: We cannot participate in any contests or fanclub activies. Everything is meant to be for US residents! And since we don't get anything, our fanclub dues (fees?) are higher than the ones for US residents.

We do not think this behavior is fair and we have raised a protest regarding this point to Music Today.
But Music Today, who take care about this fanclub, do not share our request to change the current situation for international members. Their reason is based on a lack of interest to join the official Nickelback fanclub as far as non-US residents are concerned.

For many international members the reasons not to join is this unfair treatment mentioned above.
We have been told there were not enough international members in this fanclub and due to this it was not worthy to change anything. With our petition, we would like to show to Music Today how many paying fans woud be willing to join the fanclub if the treatment for non-US residents would be changed.

Liebe Nickelback Fans

Wie ihr alle wißt, haben sehr viele von uns Probleme mit dem offiziellen Nickelback Fanclub.
Denn es gibt zwei Kategorien von Fanclub Mitgliedern, die US Amerikanischen und die Internationalen Mitglieder.
Wie ihr alle mitlerweilen mitbekommen habt, werden wir Internationalen Mitglieder sehr unfair behandelt.
Es gibt keine Gewinnmöglichkeiten für Internationale Mitglieder, es gibt keine Möglichkeit für uns überhaupt an Fanclub Aktionen teilzunehmen,
alles ist nur auf die US Bürger zu geschnitten.
Und wir müssen dafür das wir nichts kriegen, auch noch einen höheren Mitglieder Beitrag zahlen als US Bürger.

Wir fanden das nicht fair und haben dagegen bei Music Today protest eingelegt.
Aber Music Today die sich um den Fanclub kümmern sind der Meinung, nichts an dem gegenwärtigen Zustand ändern zu müssen,
weill es eh zu wenig Interesse auf seiten der Internationalen Fangemeinde für den Fanclub gibt.

Dabei gibt es eigentlich nur deshalb so wenig Interesse beizutreten, weill wir so unfair behandeld werden.
Uns wurde vogerechnet wie wenig wir prozentual vertreten sind im Fanclub und das es sich aus diesem Grund nicht lohnt etwas daran zu ändern.
Darum wollen wir mit dieser Petition zeigen wie viele Leute interesiert wären beizutreten, wenn es faire Bedingungen für alle Fanclub Mitglieder gebe und auch wieviele Mitglieder und damit auch Beiträge ihnen damit durch die Lappen gehen, wenn leute aus den oben genannten gründen nicht beitreten:

Wer also beitreten würde, wenn endlich für Inernationnale Mitglieder die gleichen Bedingungen gelten würden, wie für US Bürger, der sollte diese Petition unterschreiben, damit sich endlich mal etwas ändert und zwar für uns Alle.

Chers fans de Nickelback,

Comme vous le savez peut-être, nous sommes nombreux à avoir des problèmes concernant le Fan club officiel de Nickelback. Il y a 2 catégories de membres, les résidents nord-américains et les non-résidents américains (membres internationaux). Nous, membres internationaux, somme traités de façon inéquitable. Nous ne pouvons pas participer aux concours ou activités du Fan club. Tout est organisé pour les résidents nord-américains. Et en plus de ne rien avoir, notre tarif d’abonnement est plus élevé que celui des résidents nord-américains.

Nous pensons que ce traitement est injuste et nous avons élevé une protestation à ce sujet à Music Today.

Mais Music Today, qui s’occupent du Fan club, ne partagent pas notre demande pour changer la situation actuelle des membres internationaux. Leur raison est basée sur un manque d’intérêt des fans internationaux pour rejoindre le Fan club officiel.

Pour beaucoup de fans internationaux, la raison de ne pas adhérer au Fan club est le traitement inéquitable mentionné ci-dessus.

On nous a dit qu’il n’y avait pas suffisamment de membres internationaux dans le Fan club, et en raison de cela, ça n’était pas la peine de changer quoi que ce soit. Avec la pétition, nous voudrions montrer à Music Today combien de fans seraient prêt à rejoindre le Fan club, si le traitement pour les non-résidents nord-américains changeait.

While I'm not a member of the Official Nickelback Fan Club, I have signed the petition, as I believe that everyone should be treated equally, and I was not aware of these problems regaurding cost inconsistencies, as well as for-example having US residential only competitions!!!

My message is as follows: "Everyone throughout the entire world should be treated just the same as Nickelback fans in a Nickelback Fan Club! Everyone should have access to everything!"

Also, when I update the Nickelback News! section of my Nickelback websites, then I will be sure to bring this to the viewers' attention and link to the petition!

After all, do not doubt that a small group of people can make a difference!!!
