And I did forget to mention - Chad's niece ran across the stage in what looked like her pajamas and then he went into a whole bit about people letting him babysitting their kids, I found that thought funny....

All of the opening bands were incredibly good, Papa Roach really got the crowd going, after the place being almost empty for Saving Abel. As soon as the sun was completely set, NB came on and played the longest I've seen, right around 2 hours. The set was the usual that has been said, so I won't post that. Chad was very talkative, very joking, seemed truly happy to be in Detroit. He commented on how good it felt to be back on stage after having to cancel a show a couple days prior due to an extremely severe storm, and the one thing that seemed different to me this show was how much Chad and Ryan joked back and forth; all the shows in the past I've been to it seemed it was just more Chad doing all the talking. There was a woman in the front row that had a Mrs. Kroeger shirt on that Chad continually commented on all night, and towards the end of the show he ended up giving her his partially finished beer that he had already drank out of. He also said to her that he would give her 4 days being Mrs. Kroeger before she couldn't take it, from him never going to sleep and partying all night. Another point in the show he started singing some Backstreet Boys-type stuff that I didn't recognize just to see the reaction of all the girls in the front row, so that was funny. During the sit-down section (ITWYLD and Rockstar), Chad made fun of Mike, about how he can't pour tequila on the front row because he's only done it once and hasn't had practice, and Mike gave probably the best "wtf?" face I've ever seen, wish I could have gotten a picture of that. They also did so many Metallica teases during this time and it was joked that they could just turn into a Metallica tribute band. Chad said something about having water cannons they could use if the crowd got too hot, and said that he had gotten in trouble earlier for trying to put tequila in them. When Timmy came out for the encore to play Someday, Chad challenged him to play something Led Zeppelin other than Stairway to Heaven and Timmy quickly played a couple of songs that sounded really cool on his 12 string. I'm sure I will probably end up remembering more things later, but overall they all seemed really relaxed on stage and everyone just had an absolute blast.
